Can Jains donate blood?
नहीं यह बिलकुल भी उचित नहीं है qki blood cells में निरंतर जीवों की उत्पत्ति होती रहती है । उसमें मात्र एकेन्द्रिय ही नहीं बल्कि लब्धि अपर्याप्तक पंचेन्द्रिय जीवों की भी उत्पत्ति होती है अतः एक पंचेंद्रिय जीव को बचाने के लिए बहुत सारे पंचेन्द्रिय की हत्या करना कहाँ तक उचित है ??

To phir kya death ke baad body ko burn bhi nahi karna chahiye. Usme toh phir anant jeevo ki Hinsa hoti hai
नहीं करेंगे तो उससे ज्यादा हिंसा होगी।

वास्तव में ये बिलकुल भी सही नहीं है qki रक्त दान करने में और माँस खाने में कोई अंतर नहीं है qki मांस खाने में जीवों की direct हिंसा होती हैं and रक्त के आदान-प्रदान में indirect (जो की हमें दिखाई नहीं देती है)
बाकि आप अपने विवेक से आगम से प्रमाण कर किसी भी निर्णय पर जायें

अगर जैन धर्म में ब्रह्मचर्य की बात कही है और अगर हम चाहे की सब जीव उसका पालन करें, तो जैन धर्म की population का क्या होगा?
तीर्थंकर और अन्य उत्कृष्ट जीव कैसे उत्पन्न होंगे? तीर्थंकरों के विवाह उपरांत ब्रह्मचर्य का पालन होना चाहिए।
परंतु ऐसा नही है।

Coming to the question of blood donation, answer me this - if anyone dear to a person needs blood and is hospitalized, will we look for the blood or let the person suffer? (General query, no offence to anyone

वास्तव में रक्त का आदान प्रदान नही करना चाहिए भले ही वो कोई अपना ही क्यू ना हो ।
आगम में तो निषेध है

वास्तव में हमारा राग अपनों के प्रति इतना गहरा है कि उनको अस्वस्थ देख हमें बचाने के भाव आते है
वो भाव तो भूमिका अनुसार आएंगे ही but हम बचा लेंगे , हमारे बचाने से जान बच जायेगी ये भाव हमारे अनंत संसार का कारण है हम ये क्यू भूल जाते हैं qki सभी जीव अपनी अपनी आयु लेके आये हैं और जब वो ख़त्म होगी तो उस जीव को हम तो क्या जिनेन्द्र देव भी बचाने में असमर्थ हैं ।
और जिस जीव की आयु शेष है उसको कोई मार नही सकता ऐसे कितने ही उदाहरण हमे देखने को मिलते हैं
की बहुत भयंकर accident हुआ 4 मर गए 1 को ख़रोंच भी नहीं आयी ।
cancer की 4th stage से भी बच जाते हैं।

Toh phir santaan utpatti ke samay maa ko toh narak bandh hona chahiye kyuki uska blood hi uske bache me hai *(a sought of blood transfer).
According to what you said, Teerthankar should also follow celibacy because it’s written in Jain scriptures. That’s what I meant.
Yeah, right, जितने जीव है संसार में उतने रहेंगे ही, जीव कोई नष्ट य्या उत्पन्न नही होगा. परंतु यर कहना गलत नही लगता कि अभव्यों की राशि बहुत है इसलिए ब्रह्मचर्य का पालन possible नही है पूरी तरह से, क्योंकि काम भोग का सेवन तो भव्य जीवों में भी पाया जाता है।
मैंने एक कोई छोटी जैन धर्म से संबंधित पुस्तक में पढ़ा था कि काम भोग का सेवन विवाह उपरांत बच्चों के उत्पत्ति के लिए किया जा सकता है, परंतु भोग भोगने के लिए करना सर्वथा अनुचित है।
अगर हम बस यही माने की जो जिसके साथ जैसा होना है वैसा ही होगा, बीमार पड़के मृत्यु होनी है तो होगी ही, कोई रोक नहीं सकता, तो यहां ‘पुरुषार्थ’ या effort की क्या भूमिका हुई?
तो हमें हॉस्पिटल भी नही ले जाना चाहिए मरीज़ को, डॉक्टर के पास नही जाना चाहिए जब हम बीमार हो तो, क्योंकि अपने आप ठीक होना है तो हो जाएगा, नहीं होना हो तो नहीं होगा।
But when it comes to our dear ones, we look for the options to cure the person of course because of मिथ्यात्व and मोह.
There is no definite answer found in terms of donation of blood yet. (Atleast to me)

I also agree with this. But I think bina purushart ke aapke bhagya mai kya hai yeh kaise justify hoga . For eg if you have to drink water from the tap then you have to first open it and then if the water tank is having water then it comes via tap and if don’t it does not which we say bhagya.
Regarding Blood Donation.
I gave a packet of biscuit (अभक्ष्य) to a half dead beggar out of humanity. Is it good or bad? Why killing असंख्यात त्रस जीव just for saving one beggar (त्रस)? The act is consider good in society but Jainism will never preach about eating or distributing अभक्ष्य खाद्य पदार्थ.
Similarly, I donated blood to a close relative of mine. Is it good or bad? Why killing असंख्यात त्रस जीव just for saving one person? The act is consider good in society but Jainism will never preach about donating blood.
There is no need to connect blood donation with Jainism. It completely depends on you and your situations but Jainism (or anyone representing Jainism) will/must never preach about it.
Also, there is a difference between killing a visible and a non visible living being.
मुनियों की गमनादि क्रिया में तथा श्रावक की स्री सेवनादि क्रिया में त्रस हिंसा होने पर ऐसा कहना की मुनि/श्रावक को त्रस हिंसा allowed हैं, जिनागम से विरूद्ध हैं। चरणानुयोग की विद्धि अनुसार आचरण करना तथा करणानुयोग अनुसार ज्ञान में सत्य मानना। जिनागम में कभी भी उपदेश नीचे गिरने का नहीं देंगे। (outsourced from MMP, chapter 7th).

Regarding ब्रह्मचर्य
जिनागम में सर्वत्र उपदेश ऊचा बढ़ने का दिया हैं। If person is capable of attaining complete celibate (ब्रह्मचर्य) then s/he must absolutely follow it. But if not, just stay loyal to single man/woman. Beyond that, is even consider unacceptable in society, why Jainsim will allow it?
No need to worry about population. 99% of the people belongs to Jainism if we think beyond भरत - ऐरावत क्षेत्र। Also as per करणानुयोग, 29 digit counting is fixed for human beings. अपने परिणामों में ब्रह्मचर्य का आदर करना। स्वछंद होना पतन का कारण होगा। तीर्थंकर की भी विकृत क्रियाएं आदरणीय नहीं हैं।

I heard somewhere that परम्परा तो गढ़ने की ही हैं, जलाने की परम्परा is outcourced from Hinduism in Mugal era. Do correct me if wrong.
(Fiction) I won a lottery worth 1 crore. That doesn’t mean I’ll resign my job and start buying lottery tickets. Still, the real source of earning money is doing job. That’s the perfect balance of luck (भाग्य) and work (पुरुषार्थ).

But with the population, I meant if all jains are meant to follow celibacy, then what will happen (that was an imagination). It’s said the householder can reproduce till he has renounced the world attachments.
Other than that, yes true about the blood donation and पुरुषार्थ.

But if the person will die there is also anant tras jeev Hinsa who are surviving in the living body of that organism and also will die when the person is dead eg RBC, WBCetc. So in my opinion if you are giving 1 bottle blood (which is compatible to the donor’s blood) means no destruction of body cells in transferring blood among the people having compatible blood groups you are saving the the human being as well all the tras jeev which resides in the body of that human being.
Please rectify me if I am wrong.
