Jin Marg ko dhaarkar, Chaitya chaityalaya dhyaya.

Arihant prabhu ka naam, hai jag mein sukhdayi.
Ghati ghatu chaykar, keval jyoti payi. Veetrag
sarvagya, hit updeshi kahaye. Riddhi siddhi sab
paye, jo nit bhakti sudhaye. (1)
Siddha prabhu gunakhan, siddhi ke ho pradata.
Karma Aath sab kaat, karte mukti vasa. Suddha
buddha avikar, shiv sukhkaaree naathaa. Riddhi
siddhi sab paya, jo nit nave matha. (2)
Aacharaj gunakaar, panchaachar ko pale. Shiksha
diksha Pradhan, bhavijan ke dukh taale. Anugraha

Tatva dravya gun saar, veetrag mukh nikasi. Gandhar
ne gundhaar, jinmala ek guthi. Syadvaad chinna saar,

Samyak shradha saar, dev Shastra guru bhai. Samyak
tatva vichaar, samyak gyan kahayi. Samyak hoi

Veetrag jinbimb, murat ho sukhdayi. Darpan sam
nijbimb, dikhta jisme bhai. Karm kalank nashaya, jo

Veetrag jinbimb, kritrimaakritrim jitne. Shobhat hain jis
desh, hain chaityalaya utne. Un sabki jo saar, bhakti

Nav devta ko nit bhaje, karma kalank nashaya.
Bhav sagar se paar ho, shiv sukh mein ram jaye.
Note: On reciting the stavan daily in the morning, life is
blessed with happiness, peace and prosperity.
3 FIVE SUPREME BEINGS
Question 1. Define Namokāra Mantra.
Answer- The mantra (incantation) which is used to
pay obeisance to five supreme beings is
known as Namokāra Mantra. It consists of
35 syllable, 5 stanzas and 58 characters.
Question 2. How do you spell Namokāra Mantra?
Answer- Namo Arihantāṇam, Namo Siddhāṇam,
Namo Āiriyāṇam, Namo Uvajjhāyāṇam,
Namo Loye Sāvva Sāhuṇam.
Question 3. What is the importance of above mystic
words?
Answer- One is able to eradicate his all sins with the
help of above mantra. It exist on summit.
Question 4. To whom you call five supreme beings?
Answer- Those who all rest in supreme rank are
supreme beings.
Question 5. How many supreme beings are there?
Answer- The supreme beings are five in number viz.
an embodied pure soul (Arihanta),
disembodied pure soul (Siddha), head of the
order of saints (Acharya), spiritual preceptor
(Upadhyaya) and ascetic (Sadhu).
Question 6. Define Supreme Beings – The embodied
pure souls.
Answer- They are the embodied pure souls or pure
souls with body who all are unattached

Answer- Three out of five viz. Acharya, Upadhyaya, and Sadhu take food like us.

Answer- They take pure food in their handful once in a day.
Question 20. How do they get hair cut as they do not keep money with them?
Answer- They pluck their hairs of head, beard and moustache only by their own hands. Such a practice is called as self-plucking of hairs ‘kesalonića’.

Answer- In the Universe, 4 types of Mangala exist.

Answer- (i) The pure and perfect soul with body (Arihanta)(ii) Bodiless pure and perfect soul (Siddha) (iii) Saint (Sadhu) and (iv) Religion said by Omniscient

7 SENSES

Answer- Senses are those with the help of which one can recognize things.

Answer- The senses are Five in number. They are:
(1) Sense of touch
(2) Sense of taste
(3) Sense of smell
(4) Sense of light or visual sense organ
(5) Sense of hearing
Question 72. Define sense of touch.
Answer- By which one is able to know about an object after touching it, is known as sense of touch. For example: light-heavy, dry-oily, hard-soft, cold-hot.
Question 73. Define sense of taste.
Answer- By which one is able to know about an object after tasting it, is known as sense of taste. For example: Sour, sweet, bitter, rough, and spicy.
Question 74. Define sense of smell.
Answer- By which one is able to know about an object after smelling it, is known as sense of smell. For example: fragrance, foul smell.

Answer- By which one is able to know about an object after beholding it, is visual sense organ. For example: white, red, blue, yellow and black.

Answer- To victimize anyone giving pain, beating and saying harsh words, is violence. If you killed a bug as it is biting, is violence.

Answer- To hide truth is untruth. For example, Raju stole a five rupee note from his father’s pocket and when his father asked about it, he refuses, it is a sin named - untruth.

Answer- To pick up any fallen or placed object without asking anyone, is non-stealing. For example, Raju was feeling hungry and ate a sweet kept in almirah by his mother without asking her. He committed a sin named non-stealing.

Answer- To behold mother, sister of other badly or with unchaste view is a sin named unchastity.

Answer- To accumulate clothes, wealth etc. more than required is a sin named possession. For example, for a man or woman, 10 pairs of clothes are sufficient. But they have 20 pairs with them and desire for more. It is a sin named possession.
